This Surah is a Meccan Surah and condemns all sorts of scandal, and backbiting, and all those who do their best to gather and pile up wealth; for which they lose the whole value of their humanity, and defame, insult and mock those who do not possess that (wealth).
Al-`Awfi reported from Ibn `Abbas, "He will make them enter pillars stretched forth, meaning there will be columns over them, and they will have chains on their necks, and the gates ( of Hell ) will be shut upon them." This is the end of the Tafsir of Surat Al-Humazah, and all praise and thanks are due to Allah. The fire of the Hell, on the other hand, will reach the heart in the state of life, and man will experience the torture of the burning of the heart while alive. Read surah humazah in qur'anic font in Arabic, and transliteration, translation and commentary in English too. Woe to every scorner and mocker. Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. And what can make you know what is the Crusher? Which mounts directed at the hearts. The Tafsir of Surat Al-Humazah (Chapter - 104) Which was revealed in Makkah [بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ ] In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. كَلاَّ (But no!) meaning, the matter is not as he claims, nor as he reckons. Then Allah says, لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِى الْحُطَمَةِ (Verily, he will be thrown into Al-Hutamah.) meaning, the person who gathered wealth and counted it, will be thrown into Al-Hutamah, which is one of the descriptive names of the Hellfire. ١ Woe to every backbiter, slanderer, Surah Juz Page Tip: try navigating with ctrl K 91Ash-Shams 92Al-Layl 93Ad-Duhaa 94Ash-Sharh 95At-Tin 96Al-'Alaq 97Al-Qadr 98Al-Bayyinah 99Az-Zalzalah 100Al-'Adiyat 101Al-Qari'ah 102At-Takathur 103Al-'Asr 104Al-Humazah 105Al-Fil 106Quraysh 107Al-Ma'un 108Al-Kawthar 109Al-Kafirun 110An-Nasrفِی عَمَدࣲ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ﴿٩﴾.
